Past the coats, the trees and the snow is a magical place called Narnia.

"I just want to bring art to them. I just want to make them happy, see a great show, see them laugh and interact with them,"said actress Caitlin Logan.

Thursday afternoon, the Open Arts Alliance brought Narnia to the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich with a performance of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Open Arts Alliance is a new non-profit touring theater company in Fairfield County.

"What we do is really bring theater to audiences who have traditionally been underserved. We go to healthcare facilities, hospitals, senior centers, schools and libraries ; place where people can't necessarily get out to the theater. We bring theater to them," said Director Rocco Natale.

With a trunk of props, two actors took the audience to a land of talking animals, mythical creatures and the White Witch.

"There is something about performing for children that is just a different energy. It is really rewarding especially after the show. We get to talk to them and they are always mimicking the characters and it is very rewarding and satisfying," said actor Parke Stevenson.

The Open Arts Alliance is currently working on a summer production of Annie. For more information visit
