The Greenwich Education Group is holding informational sessions about the different options students have for standardized testing. Beginning in March 2016, the College Board will be administering its new SAT.

"They appear to be much more analytical and require a bit more thought processes. They are multi-step and the biggest change overall is that the math will contain much more algebra and trig," said Kate Guthrie.

Until then, students will be tested on the current SAT format. But Kate Guthrie of the Greenwich Education Group warns that kids might want to stick to the ACT test until all the kinks of the new SAT are worked out.

"Solely because we don't have enough data on the new SAT in order to smartly advise our students as to whether they would be better suited towards it," said Guthrie.

There will be another free session on Tuesday, April 7 at 7 pm at the Arch St. Teen Center.
