It is a French invasion in Greenwich at The 11th annual Focus on French Cinema.

"It is a French film festival. Movies are in French with English subtitles. They are from around the French speaking world, " said Anne Kern, the Director of Programming.

There is a lineup of 16 feature films including 1 World Premiere, 6 U.S. Premieres, 2 New York Premieres, and one Oscar nominated film.

"We try to select something from every genre, something for everyone," said Kern.

Directors, producers, and actors in the handpicked films traveled to take part in the festival.

"This is my second time in America. I am excited to see how the people react tot he movie," said Pio Marmai, an actor.

Event organizers say the Greenwich community embraces this event and many continue to come year after year.

"It brings the world to you.. And take viewers places they've ever been before," said Kern.

The film festival is taking place at Bow Tie Cinemas from March 27- 29th, then it will head to NYC March 30 and 31. For tickets and more information, visit
