The Easter holiday is just over a week away, and SPLURGE Gifts in Greenwich wants to help children celebrate. The store is accepting donations of filled Easter baskets to donate to Kids in Crisis and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.

"They can bring candy, playing cards, games, gift cards, toys," said Sonia Malloy, the owner of SPLURGE.

The goal is to collect 125 baskets for kids of all ages.

"We need them for children ages 2-17. A lot of times it's the older kids who get forgotten, so anybody who would be interested in bringing a basket for a child 12-17 would be greatly appreciated," said Malloy.

Donations can be dropped off during business hours at SPLURGE gifts located at 39 Lewis Ave. until April 1.
