The third starts off with another Greenwich goal, this time Kevin Petrizkowski and Larson set this one up for Cunningham. 2-0 Cardinals.

Things end here with an empty net goal from Brian Silard. Cardinals goalie Bryan Archino ends the game with 27 saves in the 3-0 shutout. Big Red has now clinched the number one seed and a first round bye in the FCIAC tournament.

At Stamford High School the boys varsity basketball team was taking on the Stamford High Black Knights.  The Black Knights start the game off hot with this three from Jay DeVito. and Stamford stays hot.  Stefan Harding takes this one to the hoop, and the foul. Stamford up 23-13. And a lob pass from DeVito to Kwe Askew for puts Stamford up 33-13. The Black Knights win 76 to 43. Greenwich needs one more win to qualify for the state tournament.
