The Bruce Museum is celebrating the Eastern oyster in their latest exhibition Oysters, Pearls of Long Island Sound.

The exhibit takes visitors through the science and history of the Eastern oyster in Long Island Sound, from spawning and growth to it's nutritional and commercial value.
The exhibit also features several interactive stations where children and families can learn more about the Eastern oyster.
