Although it may not feel like spring outside, spring is in the air at the Garden Education Center in Greenwich.
Lisa Beebe lead the class at the Horticulture Center on Thursday for gardeners starting to get their gardens back after winter.
Beebe discussed various aspects of vegetable gardening from how to start seeding to the proper compost and tools for your garden.
Bebee also took the class through the education center's greenhouse and outdoor vegetable garden allowing them to see first hand the starting process.
The Garden Education Center hopes that gardeners can promote healthy living in their own homes by growing their own fruits and vegetables.
The Garden Education Center also plans on hosting a class called Putting Your Garden to Bed in the Fall.
