96 Greenwich high schoolers are battling it out at this three on three basketball tournament.

"We have 16 teams in two age groups. Everyone is going to play and have a good time and raise money for a good cause," said Brett Hartley, founder of Harts4Jack.

This all started when Brett Hartley was in fourth grade. His best friend was diagnosed with autism and needed help getting an assistance dog. And that's when Harts4Jack was born.

"The first year we started in Brett's driveway," said Domenico Murljacic.

"They were in fourth grade when they all started and now they are going to college. It's really cool," said Lisa Hartley.

Since then, the Hartley's have raised money for different foundations, and this year it's Make a Wish.

"We know kids who have been diagnosed with blood cancers recently, and that's the main disease they do Make A Wish for," said Brett.

Last year's tournament raised $10,000 and Brett was honored with the Make a Wish Connecticut Spirit Award.

"The linked us with a kid from Westport and we were able to send his family on a well deserved trip to the Cayman Islands," said Brett.

Brett also was honored by Greenwich Public Schools for his community service efforts. This will be his last time playing in theHarts4Jack basketball tournament, but he says he hopes to continue his service in college.
