Neighbor to Neighbor of Greenwich is benefitting from a little neighborly competition.

"We are collecting peanut butter, and Little Pub is collecting jelly and we are trying to see who can get the most," said Pastor Carol Bloom.

Diamond Hill United Methodist Church and Little Pub are neighbors on Route 1 and both are asking the public for support to help win this competition.

"People who come in can also purchase it, we will add it to their bill nd then we will buy it for them," said Lars Anderson of Little Pub.

But in the end, Pastor Carol Bloom says Neighbor to Neighbor is the real winner.

"They have indicated that they have a 55 percent increase in need this year, so they are the ones who win," said Bloom.

Donations will be accepted through April 6.
