The sound of music filled the air and artwork filled the room at the Greenwich Public Schools kindergarden through twelfth grade art show.

"It's an honor for them to be here and to have their art on display," said lead music/art teacher Lynda Carroll.

There was tempting art, hands on art, and even some scary art.

"Our idea was to make a fairy tale character and it's supposed to have a special power. Her mom couldn't control her because whenever she had a nightmare, then that would come to life," said one student.

About 150 students got picked for the art show, and every project was a little bit different.

"It's a picture of me riding horses int he field where I go horseback riding," said one student.

Students say they enjoyed having their artwork on display for their friends and families to see.
